The Department of Hospitality & Catering at Patkar Varde College celebrated Onam with a grand festive lunch, embracing the spirit of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The highlight of the celebration was the traditional Onam Sadhya, a lavish vegetarian feast served on banana leaves, featuring an array of authentic dishes such as Avial, Thoran, Erissery, Sambhar, Rasam, Olan, and Payasam.
Students and faculty worked together with dedication and enthusiasm to recreate the true essence of Onam, showcasing their culinary expertise, presentation skills, and deep respect for tradition. Dressed in traditional attire, they welcomed guests with warm smiles and gracious hospitality, creating an inviting and joyful atmosphere.
